For first-time visitors to Nikko. Starting from the hotel by the station, walk through the temple town to Shinkyo Bridge, Rinnoji Temple, Toshogu Shrine and Futarasan Shrine.
On a rainy day, enjoy exhibits and architecture indoors at your own pace. Visit three facilities with different themes: cultural properties related to Toshogu, the beginning of hotel culture, and an imperial villa.

Spring is for strolling the town to visit cherry trees passed down by the locals. Enjoy each tree's differently shaped branches, then spend the afternoon at the imperial villa's garden and along the Daiya River.
Summer is for Oku-Nikko, where the walking itself is the pleasure.
Starting from Yutaki Falls, pass through the lakeside forest and on to the open Senjogahara marshland.
There are places to enjoy autumn in Nikko besides the well-known Irohazaka.
Winter in Oku-Nikko is best with short outdoor sightseeing combined with indoor visits.
You can enjoy the winter view of Kegon Falls.
